Some regions in the state of Maharashtra in India are infamous for the number of suicides of farmers that they account for everyday. The Damned Rain is the story of a farmer Kisna who tries as hard as possible to continue farming. Kisna's wife Alka is assured that he is thinking of committing suicide. She asks their 6-year old son Dinu to keep a watch on Kisna, and report any irregular behavior. A drama where smiles and laughters are also at the rendez-vous.
