Basically, a British Goodfellas, Layer Cake's title tells you what the movie is really like: a tasty treat with so many plots and subplots and twists and turns and characters that if you let your attention drift for a moment, you'll be hard-pressed to catch up. The movie was fun, funny, exciting, violent and well-written. The second best movie I've seen this year.
