Never saw the original. Got dragged to this one. Well, it's not bad. The crash sequence is spectacular. Most of the characters are interesting enough to entertain for two hours or so, Giovanni Ribisi demonstrates his lack of acting ability here (he was good in Private Ryan though) The middle part is boring, and the ending is predictable. Wait till it hits the dollar cinema or video, don't blow your wad to see it for $10 or more, that's for sure.
