For much of the movie, this is better than Meet The Parents. Dustin Hoffman is far more entertaining than Robert DeNiro, and Barbara Streisand is actually pretty good in this. About 20 minutes before the end, though, this movie delves into the realm of stupidity. Whereas the original made us feel sorry for Gay Focker by the end, this one makes us feel sorry for the scriptwriter. It just gets dumb. Still, more than a few good laughs, definitely worth it.
