I liked it better the first time, when it was called "Stir Of Echoes." And, after reading some reviews, yes, it's even more like "What Lies Beneath." Halle Berry is miscast here, and as for Robert Downey Jr, this must have been part of his probation or something. Anyways, I'm probably being too generous, now that I think of "What Lies Beneath, " but I walked out thinking it was a 7. It's probably closer to a 5 or a 6. There is one good, chilling moment in the movie, though, and it really was not too predictable. I thought I had it pegged from the previews, but I was wrong. One question: why is it called "Gothika? ".
