An intelligent, well-written, well-acted political thriller that never goes over the top and leaves you with the feeling that you just went from naive college student to weary professional. It's a tremendously balanced, unbiased look at poliitics and politicians. Clooney, Giamatti, Wood, Gosling and the Hoff all rock solid. It's the sort of movie that you could miss what's going on by crunching your popcorn too loud, but it's worth it.
