This is not Outbreak, or 28 Days Later. This is a very realistic look at how the world reacts to a sudden appearance of a killer disease. What it lacks in suspense and build-up to a climax, it makes up for in intelligent dialogue, varied intersecting storylines, a killer soundtrack that pushes the movie along nicely, and gorgeous cinematography (see it in Digital!) Still, while intelligent and realistic and thought-provoking, it does kind of fizzle in the last 20 minutes or so, sacrificing excitement for realism.
