This is what happens when a bunch of incompetent script writers, special effects geeks and an inconsistent director (Casino Royale good, Edge of Darkness bad) team up to make a movie about one of the most out there superheroes of all time. While Thor was just as out there, at least those folks managed to put together a great movie. This came off as shallow, one-dimensional (no pun intended with the 3D glasses and whatever), and thoroughly unengaging. Some of the action scenes are fun-ish, but it all amounts to little more than a video game story. Ryan Reynolds could have been better, Blake Lively was so skinny I wanted to share my popcorn and Glosette Raisins with her and the Peter Sarsgaard character seemed interesting till the end, then went nowhere. With a new action movie coming out every week, surely you can do better than this.
