Despite having some of the most awesome action scenes of all time, Sucker Punch lacks real excitement because we know the action isn't really happening except in the girls' heads. It's like watching kids play make-believe. This movie is a cross between Kill Bill, Heavy Metal and The Matrix, but not as good as any of those. There is almost no story at all, and the action scenes seem more suited to a video game, where story doesn't matter one bit. Still, it's compelling enough to be enjoyable, and you really do want to see how it turns out. Worth seeing for the experience, but pretty darn thin.
