Don't go into this expecting The Bourne Suppository or anything like that. This is a slow, meticulous, brooding film that gives one a good idea of what the life of a hit man (I think) must really be like. Waiting and fear and waiting and paranoia and loneliness and waiting. It's not boring, rather it's somewhat interesting. And the mountainous Italian scenery doesn't hurt either (I predict a cinematography Oscar) A fine film for people who don't mind a camera that isn't operated by a pepaleptic and that doesn't have a car chase or a lengthy karate fight every other minute. BONUS: You will also have the knowledge to assemble a sniper rifle when you leave the theatre.
