It's The Matrix with touches of Mission: Impossible, James Bond, The Cell, and Ocean's Eleven thrown in. While better than the two Matrix sequels, it still doesn't quite touch the original. Mind-blowingly complex and well-conceived, Inception doesn't quite take full advantage of the dream theme for maximum creativity. I expected a lot more bizarre and imaginative worlds than I got. Still, it's a ride and a half, and the two and a half hours go so fast you'll think you were dreaming the whole time.
