About 45 minutes of setup, then 1 hour and 45 minutes of violence. Non-stop, unflinching, relentless violence. It was disturbing and very VERY graphic, especially the leg artery scene, but it wasn't as meaty nor did it have the same effect on me as Saving Private Ryan. I walked out of Private Ryan trembling with shock; I walked out of Black Hawk Down saying "Cool. ".
