A great, suspense-filled, action-packed, well-done, not-overblown chase movie. Matt Damon was excellent as were Chris Cooper (the frustrated closet gay neighbour from American Beauty) , Brian Cox and Franka Potente. The story was nothing terribly original, but it was effective and suited the style of movie. The foreign locales and meaty fight sequences were surpassed only by a car chase that sits up there in the top five car chases of all time (other such notable chases are Ronin, Lethal Weapon 4, Metro, and The Rock) It's like Enemy of the State, except it's not hyper-active, music video-influenced crack for the ADD crowd. This is good movie-making. Third best movie of the year so far, behind Attack Of The Clones and Panic Room.
