Extremely nice visuals and a diabolically insane Helena Bonham Carter are the main reasons to see this. Alice herself is rather dull and charmless. And Johnny Depp was okay as the Mad Hatter. The 3D is neat, but doesn't hold a candle to Avatar. I would have preferred to see it non-3D. Overall, a decent flick that is really nice to look at.
