Yet another friggin' great movie completely ruined by the friggin' previews. I am getting so sick and tired of movie previews showing not only all the best parts of the movies, but giving away plot twists as well. Cast Away is probably the worst example of this, as the theatre trailers gave away the ending. I might have enjoyed it more had I not known how it would end. But, aside from that, great acting on Tom Hanks's part, considering he acted alone for an hour and a half. Oscars for him, methinks. The movie was a little long, but not quite too long. Also, the whole film could have been a 150-minute Federal Express infomercial. If I hadn't have found out beforehand that Fed Ex didn't pay a cent to have their company name plugged every three minutes in the film, I would have rated this flick a 2 or a 3 out of ten.
