It could have been a '9' if Pfeiffer and De Niro had resisted the mugging just a bit. Claire Danes was a delight -- yes, she truly shone as the star woman, completely outplaying Charlie Cox as her bumptious love interest. A bit too much sub-plotting with the dastardly princes but they did provide comic relief. Peter O'Toole has a joyful cameo as the murderous king, dying with sadistic glee. I hope that there is a sequel that builds on the transcendent love made earthy theme. Quite a heart warming story, really.
