This movie is excellent. Sincerely, it's the most good quebecer I've ever seen. The jokes are funny, the story is interesting and the movie is not too short, not too long. But sometimes, actors talk too fast. But it's not a reason to don't go to see this excellent movie. Watching this movie is a good idea for everyone. Gabx.

Very impressed. Wasn't sure about JLH but he pulled it off. Michel Cote as always, Remy Girard excellent, and Jean-Michel Anctil beautifully cast!! Fantastic concept.

Excellent back and forth between the father and son; the intertwining of the three stories was done masterfully; one of the best quebec films I have ever seen - much better than Bon Cop Bad Cop which was also good.

The story is simple and though it is quite not credible I laughed a lot. Good actors.

This is a truly funny movie. Michel Côté is one my favourite actors and I've liked him since La Vie Après L'Amour. In De Père en Flic, Côté teams up with Louis-José Houde and both deliver a great performance. The plot is intelligent, there are several laugh-out-loud moments and Caroline Dhavernas is major eye candy. It makes a great date movie! I highly recommend it!

Very funny and sometimes touching. Some great truths revealed sometimes hilariously. Superb acting. Father and son are sometimes quite funny. A good way to spend an afternoon.

What a hilarious movie! A pretty good story, with amazing comedic acting, hilarious lines... the funniest Quebec flick since Bon Cop Bad Cop! Kudos to Michel Cote as usual. Mucho kudos to Louis-Jose Houde in his first real movie role (only played a minor supporting role in Bon Cop Bad Cop) No lulls in this movie. It runs a solid 107 minutes!!! 9/10 Excellent French movie, a must see!

Tout y est à l'image de Louis-José Houde. Il est à son naturel dans son rôle. Les autres personnages tournent autour de lui.

Entertaining movie and well acted by real pros. One element that always becomes a real pain after a while in the foul language used in this movie. It is gratuitous and unnecessary. It certainly does not do much for the script and leaves me wondering if the writer ran short of vocabulary to express what he needed to. Still, it is worth seeing.

Very very funny movie!!! The duo Michel Cote and Louis Jose Houde made the movie a success... and actually it is the presence of M Cote that added to the punch. I liked the part where they make a comparison between how the "fathers" think and how the "sons" think... it's this whole dialogue (that is shown in parallel) between the 2 opposites parties that show you how each generation think and act... what their priorities are... their hobbies... how they face life challenges... Cute movie... wanna see it again!

I really enjoyed this movie. They both have such extremely contrasted characters and it has a good ending. What more can you ask for?

Very funny movie! I thought that Louis-José Houde and Michel Côté had great chemistry on the big screen. Jean-Michel Anctil was definitely a surprise in this movie, because we are used to seeing him as a big cuddly bear, but he played the role as the head biker very well... !

Very funny. Probably the best Quebecois movie I've ever seen, with the possible exception of C. R. A. Z. Y. And certainly better than Bon Cop, Bad Cop, which I thought was overrated. No, this movie was top-notch comedy with really great performances. I would have liked it if they had put French subtitles instead of English, because my French is just not quite good enough to understand what was being said. I would've been able to read and understand everything in French, but hey, what are ya gonna do, right? I'm now a huge fan of Michel Cote.

The movie is very funny but I am bilingual so I understood the french not recommended to a strong english. And it does not have a really good story to it. However the end was good.

Another good Quebec film with a good police story as well as the relationship between father and son. Lots of humour that had the audience laughing many times with many comic situations Great cast!
