This movie was awesome! I never read the comic and I liked the movie adaptation a lot. Great humor, nice special effects and a drooling redhead Gwyneth Paltrow. Jeff Bridges playing the badguy is stunning. Robert Downey jr was terrific in the role of a cocky man turning into a righteous heroicman. Of course, this is still a comic adaptation, so there isnt short of clichés. The unfolding of the story was more intriguing than insulting. For those who don't know, Iron Man is about a simple guy with a modest background that is the best at what he does, he is the fastest and the most efficient when it comes to ironing shirts and pants, but one day he finds out that his skills could be more useful for mankind... trivia: apparently, the role was turned down by peter weller, who wanted to diversify his work.
