User's review

Ratatouille has to be one of the most brilliant animated pictures that DISNEY/PIXAR has ever created. I've never seen anything like this before, and though not to undermine other animated classics such as Finding Nemo, Monster's Inc, Toy Story, and Cars, this one tops them all. I must admit when I went to see this movie I had heard quite a few good things about it, and liked what I saw from it's previews, but upon seeing the entire picture did not realize that it was going to be such a grand masterpiece... It totally blew me away. With visually stunning images, breathtaking scenery, as well as inspiring cinematography, this movie takes on a life of it's own. I found that everything blended nicely together, the mood, theme, dialogue, etc. Yet the story itself, Ratatouille is a wonderfully, well thought out work. Just the concept alone is unique... A little rat named, Remy who's greatest ambition in life is to become a master chief, and find his place in the world. Heartwarming and funny, this story also delivers a strong, clear message that if you really believe enough in yourself you can get to where you want to be in life, and never give up your dreams. In Ratatouille, you get a real feel for French culture, cooking, and a zest for life. As for the characters, they are undeniably rich in substance, believable, and lovable, especially Remy, along with Auguste Gusteau, Linguini, Collette, and the other rats. It doesn't matter how young or old you are... This movie is sure to delight anyone. I'll definitely be buying the DVD when it comes out. This is one film that shouldn't be missed... Go see it now, you'll be glad you did."Hooray for DISNEY!!!"
