Wow, Helen Mirren did an amazing job! If she does not win the Oscar for this role, their voting system is corrupt. Okay, the movie itself was very slow. I was not aware that the whole movie revolved around the death of Princess Diana, and the royal family's reaction to it. So the entire film is basically a week in the life of the queen. It gives you wonderful insight into the reasons for some of their behavior & the protocol they have to follow. So the movie is interesting at times, but overall it is just too slow & not very entertaining.
