"Brainless comedy" to a tee. Most of the parodys were funny, or atleast had funny parts. You have to have seen all the movies or it won't make any sense.

This one was the best out of this one and the third one, but the best Scary Movie ever has to be the first one with the Wayans brothers.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] I thought this movie was pretty good but why does brenda keep dyeing and coming back to life? Anyways yeah not as good as the third but still funny. :)

It wasp retty good, but even not being much of a comedy guy, I can tell you that I really liked the others more. It has it's moments so you won't be disappointed. The thing I really like about it is that they made it in such a way that whoever saw this and didn't see the Grudge can't pretend they did.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Ahh, yet another 'Scary Movie'. The forth sequal in the 'Scary Movie' series follows the always lovable and hilarious Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris) on an adventure to find out the secret to defeating the aliens with her best and sex crazed friend Brenda (Regina Hall) As the other 'Scary Movies' begin with an opening death scene, this one does as well. I'm not going to tell you who gets killed in the beginning because, I don't want to spoil it for you but, I will tell you that it is a hilarious scene. The rest of the movie revolves around Cindy, Brenda, and Cindy's new 'love' Tom Ryan (Craig Bierko) This movie mainly spoofs Tom Cruise's 'War of the Worlds', M. Night Shamalan's 'Village', Ms. Sarah Michelle Gellar's 'Grudge' and the horror movie 'Saw' and 'Saw II'. To get this movie you have to see those 4 movies. There are also little spoofs from 'Million Dollar Baby', 'Brokeback Mountain', and the infamous Tom Cruise Oprah scene. If you seen those 4 movies and know what those little spoof scenes are about, this movie would be gut-busting fun and a enjoyable time. Even if you didn't like the first three, you might like this one. This one is also not as "disgusting" as the first two and better than the third one. The acting on the other hand isn't that bad either. Dr. Phil needs to improve but, since he isn't in movies a lot, he did a good job. Shaq also could improve but, since he also isn't in movies a lot he did a good job as well. Anna Faris was amazing as always but, nothing will beat her performance in 'Just Friends'. Regina Hall and Craig Bierko were also really good and they did a good job keeping a straight face. Leslie Nielsen plays his 'stupid yet lovable' character and did a great job. And finally Carmen Electra, she's spoofing the blind girl from 'The Village' and does an amazing job, especially in her 'scene'. The progress of this movie makes sense. It doesn't jump from one scene to another without telling you what happened. So, most of the time you would know what is happening. The special effects or the visuals were amazing. They made the kid from 'The Grudge' look more scarier than the actual one. The city in this movie looks EXACT to the one in 'War of the Worlds' The bathroom in the 'Saw' spoofs looked EXACT to the actual movie as well, the 'traps' also looked like the 'Saw' ones. The village also looked like the one from 'The Village'. The TrI-pods blew me away though. That is what you call amazing special effects. This movie also made A LOT of people jump, not in laughter but, because, they were scared. I'm not going to tell you what scene it is but, it is sudden and you don't see it coming. This movie is also not for young kids. Kids over 11 or 12 are suitable for this movie because, they'll probably understand most of the 'sex' parts and jokes. There is one scene though, near the beginning that has a strong 'sex' joke and you see it. Actually there are two scenes but, they'll be laughing so hard that they wouldn't even care or they wouldn't notice it. Overall, this has to be the best 'Scary Movie' up to now. Some people would disagree with this because, they liked the first two because, they were R and this one isn't. This one has the best direction, acting, story and special effects out of all of them and even some of those people who hated this might agree with that though. I HATED 'The Village' and was pleased with the spoof but, the movie, 'The Village' had good acting. I hope this review didn't spoil the movie for you and it helped you with some of your questions. I'll try to go see movies that people might not see and tell them about it and I'll try to clear up their questions. Well, I'll talk to all you guys later. Bye!!

The dumbest movie ever. I did not even laugh once. The movie was so short it seemed like a 20 minute movie and Dr Phil and Shaquille O'Neal don't even appear once in this movie while they are in the commercials. Sounds like misadvertisement to me!

Bottom of the barrell stuff. You can tell they were stretching for material when they're including take offs on Brokeback Mountain. If people knocking their heads on things and weak fart jokes are your thing, this movie is for you.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] It was the best out of the 4. I don't understand how people gave it such bad reviews. Maybe they weren't ready for it. It was good and the part where Robby kicked down the door had me laughing like there was no tomorrow. It was the best out of the four. I hope you will have seen it.

This film is both sex and epic. It blows beloved out the water Oprahs best preformance yet to bad Dr. Phil was played buy another actor who didn't resemble him that much why get danny bonaduce to play dr. Phil. Pamela Anderson looks better than ever to bad Carmen Electra wasn't in this one she's so good doing all that peta stuff. At least Johnny Depp did a cameo and its nice seeing elizabeth taylor work again. Too bad Tonny curtis wasn't in this one his performace was epic in scary movie 3. Oprah will definitely win the Oscar for best actress this year. Go see it you won't regret it. [...]

First 2 scary movies are still the best, this one tried to hard to get a laugh, sometimes it got a cheap laugh, no better than Date Movie, which was also pretty much crap "zucker is a sucker" should be this movies slogan.

This movie totally blew!!! I wasted my evening out to watch this. Watching old people bowling would be more entertaining. [...] They need to get Anna Faris out of these movies! Everything I see her in she is just as dumb and a wanna be actress as usual.

I would like to give this movie a 6.5. Although it had its funny places it could have been much better. Probably a fun video rental. Not as fun for a night out at the theatre.

Since the Wayans got out of the Scary Movie Franchise... it's not as funny to me anymore. I laughed for the first 2 movies and the last couple movies have been easily forgotten as soon as I left the theatre. Needless to say, I only found that I watched this movie simply in hopes that this one would be good. It barely kept my attention.

It seems like the scary movies are going downhill. They havent been able to make one like #1 and this ones the worst of them all. There were funny parts, but most of it just dragged on with the same jokes as #3. Basically #3 over again to make more money.
