I am a lifelong devotee of the Bond franchise, so where this film is concerned I make no pretense of objectivity. The gadgetry has been reigned in, making it more palatable from that respect. Daniel Craig does an excellent job of playing a much more icy Bond than we have seen previously (and with ridiculously-large traps and delts) Apart from that, Casino Royale is a typical Bond film that will not disappoint.
