[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Enh. Shyamalan doesn't really capture anything special. It's so-so, at best. There's the scene where the sort of a-hole reviewer guy talks about himself getting killed off, and what type of film it would be if he was in one and blahblahblah, a whole bunch of uninteresting stuff about the fourth wall, and is then torn apart and forgotten. I wasn't sure, was it supposed to be funny? Sorry, it wasn't. The rest of the movie is like this: lots of crap that doesn't really matter, but is thrown in to make it feel deep. I usually like Giamatti, but not in this film, Paul. Not in this one.
