User's review

It's not a Bond movie - which is a good thing. I thought the movie was well cast, had some really great camera work (the fisheye effect in the asian market was perfect), and was a good laugh for the money. What I liked about the story was the way the plot kept coming to these turning points where you were hanging for a second or two, not knowing what would happen next. Okay, there was a little cheese in there with the men-bonding thing, but the roles were played with a keen sense of where that line is between funny and roll-your-eyes pathetic. I would recommend it. It's rated R for a reason... There's enough sex and talk about it (all for the purpose of character-building, I thought) that your kids don't need to see. Pierce Brosnan had some really hilarious moments!
