When it comes to Russel Crowe, Cinderella Man really makes a knockout performance. I took my chances when I went to see this movie, not expecting much, and was pleasantly surprised. To be honest, I'm not that much of a fan of Crowe, but I sure thought he was good in this one. However, the movie evoked many powerful emotions on different levels, and it was the kind of story that you would not soon forget. It takes an inside look at the real life of a heavyweight boxer, Jim Braddock, a legendary figure who was known in the boxing world. This movie also paints a clear image of what life was like during the depression in the 1930's, and what lengths some people would go to in order to survive, like in the case of Braddock's story. The acting here is original, and believable... it will take your breath away. This is definitely Ocar material. GO SEE THIS MOVIE NOW... it's worth every penny..
