This movie is disappointing. Previews look funny, but the movie isn't. A real let down.

Story about the American Dream and just too much of it The Effects and annimation are very unique and interesting. But a very predicatable plot Good for the under 10 Generation just not for the whole family.

Soo funny! I love Robin Williams!!!

This film is very funny and you need to see it a second time to catch all the jokes. I will welcome a second viewing but its poor plot also left me not wanting to see a sequel or to rave about it like I did after seeing the far superior The Incredibles. There was a short preview of Ice Age II, with Scrat once again unleashing all hell as he scales a glacier to gather an acorn. CanÂ’t wait to see that film.

This was a very good, extremely funny, wonderful, cheerful movie that will be loved by all ages. And contains the right blend of humor and action. Why is it that these days you have to go animated, to get anything good?

In my opinion, the film is funny, but not too full with new ideas. Especially for children it's wonderful. The tricks have got a good quality. You really have to like Big Weld with his accent and the other characters. All in all it's worth seeing it, but it's not too amazing.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] The film is a really funny one and it is worth seeing. The architecture and the background of the film is really fascinating. The story is good cause the small boy always does what he want to do. He always goes his way. By this story you get much impresses about the american dream...

The film "Robots" is very interesting because it shows the "American Dream" in a very good way. But if you watch the whole film, you will realize that it will be boring because there are always the same jokes and the story isn't very demanding. But I think that the design of the city is very well done...

In the film "Robots" I laughed only sometimes because most of the jokes weren´t funny. The beginning was funny and interesting but the end was too "American", like any other American film and you know immediately at the beginning the end of the story. It´s something for young children but the effects and the animations were very good.

In my opinion the film is funny but not too full of new ideas. Especially for kids it's wonderful. The tricks in the film have a good quality. The characters are very lifely and you simply have to like Big Weld with his sweet Swiss accent.

I mean, that the film ROBOTS is in some parts fine, but it is often boring and has no ideas. The architecture of Robot city is hardly perfect. When you have looked the first 20 minutes you know how the film ends. So the story is not so convincing.

florian_h@ - age: 13-17
Robots is a typical film for kids. It is a funny film and it has very good special effects, but the end is as it is always in those films. Except from some scetches and a few nice pictures the film is boring.

ws123@ - age: 13-17
The film 'Robots' is in some Parts fine, but it is often very boring. The whole story is not very demanding. The buildings and whole Robotcity is of a nice architecture, but this is the only good aspect.
3/10 10.6.2005 -
dominikzellner@ - age: 13-17
I think it´s only a film for smaller children because the jokes are not funny and the story is very easy, cheap and boring. When somebody asks you wether you want to go for seeing the movie robots then I advise you to say NO!

lehnachris@ - age: 13-17
I was very impressed with "Robots". The animation is amazing, and the charachters are well developed. A very funny movie! However I would hesitate to take young children as there were some inuendos that weren't necessary. It is a very cute movie, but some judjement is needed.

FUNNY, Smart, and heart felt. The best Hour and half of your life. This film combines all the flavours you crave for in a film. The bad thing is that it's only 90 minutes. Left me wanting more!!!

I LOVED this movie! It not only lived up to my expectations, but went beyond it! Not only was it funny and cute, but I loved the story behind it.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] The animation and visual universe are both totally original and stunning. Too bad they didn't invest as much time and money on the script. Even the kids tuned out after a half hour or so. Robin Williams' character doing a spoof of Britny Spears during the battle of the robots sequence near the end is worth a laugh, but that's about it as far as gags intended for the parents go. Shrek this is not. Skip it, and the DVD. Take the kids to park. That you'll never regret.

Made for tiny kids only... Robin Williams recycles another old tired character. Heard it a million times. Left after 25 minutes. The little ones will love it. But they love anything..

I thought this movie was [...] extremely pointless. I'm sure younger children would enjoy it. But for those mature, it's a no-no.

The story seems old. It isn(t original. It's a normal movie that you; ll forget in a year or two. It may be funny, but that was probably the only thing the producer of this movie was concentrating on. Wait for it to come on DVD.

What can one say about this movie? They did t with Shrek and now with Robots. The characters in this film were hilarious! I laughed so hard in the theatre that I almost fell out of the seat. Great story and with and allstar cast. What else can you ask for? Definitely deserving of a 10.

This movie was a gem... I was either laughing hysterically or being mesmerized by the graphics most of the way through. This is a movie that can be enjoyed by all ages. If you want to go to the movies with the family, this is the one to see. You'll be glad you did!

This movie was a waste of money, it bored me and it even bored my 3 year old. You will sit there waiting for something interesting to happen or for the "real" story to start and it never does. I may have laughed once through this entire movie.
