Like all Clint Eastwood directed films, this one is very SLOW and overrated. Even the acting is below par. No one can believe that Tim Robbins is slow-witted and Marcia Gay Harden is one-dimensional. Sean Penn is over the top. Too many twists in the plot. Overall, not as great as the reviewers would make us believe. I think they just revere Clint Eastwood too much.
