I find the historical Elizabeth I very interesting, and I'm a big Cate Blanchett fan. The costumes and make-up in this movie were really impressive. In my opinion, her performance was more worthy of an Oscar than was Gwyneth Paltrow's, who won that year for "Shakespeare in Love."

This movie is an absolutely the most real, historical movie that I have ever watched. The actors definitely made the story come alive. And just the costumes and props alone, told a story.

Well this movie deserves every kind of praise that other historical movies can't. Unbelievable costume. All actors have performed there roles very well. Director of this movie is just brilliant. Thumbs up!!!

A very powerful piece of film making. I really enjoyed it, particularly when Elizabeth battled Mary for control of the throne. I loved the way the film showed the power struggles and politics of the day. I bet in 400 years someone will make a great movie about today's power struggles.
