[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] While I always enjoy a dissenting opinion, and never thought I would write this with so many apathetic miscreants handing out ratings of 9 and 10 like candy, this movie is actually not as bad as some of the reviews indicate. It isn't good, per se, but it isn't THAT bad. Thornton is everything you would expect, Blanchett is too far onto the neurotic side, and her decision to leave everything isn't compelling. It's also interesting how she/the writers rationalise her romantic/sexual interest in both Willis and Thornton. They don't. UNDERedited. Scenes are too long and some don't even contribute to the plot. If you never see this movie, don't be sad. If you want to waste two hours and a few dollars, go ahead.
