A great FUN movie -- on many different levels! In satiring the "Disney" and "storybook" genre, it was actually a wonderful tribute to those institutions! (So, lighten up, all you Disney fans who feel attacked -- I'm a big Disney fan too, and I absolutely loved Shrek). The animation was magnificent, but it did not overshadow the story. The characterization, script and the actors were wonderful! It was the best creative "animated" feature I've seen since "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" -- and perhaps even surpasses Roger.
