User's review

"I thought "Mirrors" was genuinely scary. I found the film had quite a good storyline, that was both gripping and jolting. The growing suspense throughout each scene was heightened by a feeling of uneasiness. I was literally on pins and needles the whole time. Also, there are some very jumpy moments that will get your adrenalin coursing through your veins. Just the thought of ghosts being able to live in mirrors is an unnerving concept. However, it is believed by some people that mirrors are portals to the spirit world. Aside from that, the visuals and special effects in this movie are amazing. I also thought the atmosphere was creepy and effective. I'll have to say that Kiefer Sutherland does one heck of a great performance. His acting is very convincing and believable. The other cast members did a good job as well. On another note, please keep in mind that this movie has a high content of gore in it. There were a few scenes that actually made me flinch, and one in particular where I thought I'd pass out. Some people might find "Mirrors" too graphically disturbing, and the best advice I could give them would be cover your eyes in the gory parts. All in all, this flick was definitely a thrill ride, especially to one who is a true horror buff. Go see it now and experience "Mirrors" The ending will really grab you!
