Alright, first the good points: Taken checked all the boxes for a great action movie. Character development was very quick and to-the-point; they didn't waste any time or have a useless scene. Fighting choreography was amazing, probably the best I've ever seen. There were great twists and turns; it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. There were many memorable moments with great lines. Script was near perfect. Some parts were very clever and original that really opened eyes. Some parts were even funny too, though they didn't go overboard. Now for the cons (And they're very minor) Ending was a little sucky, I was expecting another thrill. It just felt like they were trying to wrap it up quick and were on a tight deadline. I also really reminded of James Bond, Jason Bourne, or even Solid Snake at times. Not the world's most original character. Overall, I walked out of the theater with my eyes wide open and my head filled with thoughts. It was a stimulating movie, and was not dumbed down at all. If you're looking for a fast-paced, intense movie that gets to the action and cuts the bulls***, I suggest you check it out. Oh, and one last complaint: $11.50 for a teen ticket? Seriously? And another $11 for popcorn? Do yourself a favor and buy the DVD.
