This third installment of Ice Age definitely gets my vote. It's a wonderful, heartwarming animation just like its two predecessors that keeps you throughly entertained throughout the entire picture. I think it has a great little story to it, with good direction, and just the right pace to give it that pleasing quality. The stunning visuals are what really bring the film to life, and the characters have a realistic look and feel to them as if they could just walk off the screen. I thought the humor was genuine and lighthearted, and even sweet. There are jokes that may perplex very young children that only teens and adults will understand, but they will identify with other things in the movie that they will truly enjoy. Also, the voice talents of Queen Latifah, Ray Romano, Dennis Leary, and the newest member of the cast, Simon Pegg, are nothing short of amazing. The action scenes in this film will fascinate and awe you, as there is plenty of things going on at a random rate. Not to mention, there are some new lovable creatures that are introduced into the story. Lastly, there are a few tense scenes during the movie, but don't worry, there's nothing too scary that will upset the little ones. Overall, this is a great family picture to see.
