User's review

I watched this as a kid in the 80s and it didn't affect me as much as it did when I watched it last night, now in my 30s. Being a filmaker myself, I better understand the cinematography. The movie is actually remarkably well filmed. You might wonder what's beautiful about it but in contrast with all the horror and gore, the angles, the colors, the things you least notice are quite nice. It is like a nice painting, a beautiful canvas, and on this painting blood is being splattered. I thought there were alot of elements taken from Hitchock's Psycho. The psychological thriller is a hell of a ride.
