Scream 3 is actually ten times better than I thought it was going to be it was pretty much like the first two, but just a little bit different ( this one had a lot more pop culture references) All in all, Scream 3 was pretty good, but it can't hold a candle to the original.

Scream has turned into the movie that it used to make fun of. The origianl Scream was a spoof. The characters knew they were in a horror movie, and were having a good time in it. The movie was very funny. But their in no humor in Scream 3. When I saw it at the theater no one laugh once. The film is taking seriously what it used to make fun of. There are no funny lines or scenes at all. And the new characters are all cardboard(except Parker Posey) The first Scream was great because all of the characters were great. Who can forget party animal Stu, or horror nerd Randy. Or the smart alecky Tatum. There is nothing like that in #3. The characters are the most 1 dimensional I've ever seen. And the opening scene in the movie is just a rehash of the Casey Becker scene. Another thing I didn't like was the voice changer. Now it can duplicate everyone's voice. I mean get real. The death scenes are less suspenseful, and more gory. There is some suspense in the movie, but there is a lot more needless gorey violence. When you get down to it, #3 is just an ordinary run of the mill horror film. It has a big budget, and big sets, and big name stars. But the script is 3rd rate all the way. When you find out who did it at the end, it's like "who cares? " What's that other thing they say about trilogies? Oh yeah. The last one always sucks.
