I don't think this movie comes anywhere close to the first 2 the story is pretty weak when when compared to the first 2 Jet Li, Brendan Fraser, Luke Ford, and Maria Bello all perform well but can't help that there is a very much less than impressive script that they have to work with. Nobody ever intends to make a bad movie but it does happen from time to time this movie is a good example of that.

The FX were bad, conflict bad acting so-so. Stick with the other two mummies.

Very disappointing! Nothing like the other Mummy movies with Brendan Fraser. They should've killed off the mothers character instead of replacing her with another actress. The son looked much too old to be fathered by Brendan Fraser.

Just like Indiana Jones, it looks like this film series is setting itself up for a change of generation and actors. Bang! Smash! Witty line! Smash! Smile. It goes something like that. An enjoyable experience that keeps to the Mummy style :)

It was neither great nor bad, but good. It could be better. First, what really bothered me was the fact that both Brenda Fraser's wife and his son, Alex, were too old. She looked like his elder sister, while his son looked like his younger brother. The age of these three people simply DID NOT MATCH. Hollywood does not lack of celebrities. If they really insisted on choosing them to be the actor and actress, they should have made Fraser look much older them he appeared. Second, the fighting was not great at all because it was not directed by some famous 'Chinese Martial Art directors whose responsibility is simply to show actors how to fight, performing their actions' like other films such as Hero, Fearless, Crunching Tiger and Hidden Dragon, House of the Flying Dagger, Iron Monkey, and Romeo Must Die, to name a few.

I don't want to sound too critical. They should have introduced the son and given him a girlfriend, instead of recasting Eve with a new actress. She tried SOO hard, and it just failed. Completely different character, I could hardly watch. We actually left the theatre, for other reasons, and I had no problem doing so, because it just wasn't that good. I would appreciate a better script, instead of wild chase scenes in china with fireworks and impossible kooky stunts.

Very watchable movie, which keeps your attention to the screen thru out the movie, plot line and villian were at time over the top, but action wise was worth the trip.

Severely misunderstanding the importance of Rachel Wiesz from the first two films, her replacement Maria Bello tries and fails to keep up the campy charm. Serves as a lack-luster vehicle for Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh to fight. They've done it before and done it better.

Good but can be improved. The story line went way too fast. I mean the characters didn't even have to try hard to destroy the evil Emperor. The first two movies were much better but you know if they can come up with a fourth movie, I will still watch it! I just love it so much, but just disappointed on this one.

WOW! Is this movie ever bad. If my girlfriend and I hadn't gotten into an argument; and if I had chosen to go to the bar instead of the only available film, I wouldn't have had to experience this - this - waste. Remind me why Brendan Fraser has a career?

Barely worth the effort to go see it. If it weren't for the cool CGI this would have been a stinker. Indiana Jones 4 only beat this out by +1 in my books. I wouldn't sit thru it again.

Very disapointing. I love Brendon Frazer's work. As well as Jet Li, Luke Ford. But this was not even in the same league as the other Mummy movies.

What a complete waste of an evening. NOthing near to the other films in this series. This was completely brainless entertainment that was not entertaining at all only in the very beginning. I guess if everyone could have their money back at the end of the film Hollywood wouldn't have made a buck on this one.

Another bad movie this summer. Where are the good movies? I love the Mummy series, even if they can be cheesy, but this one was a major disappointment. I agree with the other reviews: I actually like Maria Bello, but she just doesn't replace Rachel Weisz. And their son is way too old for them. I can't believe that Michelle Yeoh and Jet Li accepted these roles, they are way too good for this nonsense called a movie. I was bored throughout the whole movie, the action, the script, the acting, it was all terrible! Such a waste of a great idea!

Terrible terrible terrible. Horrid acting, weak plot... boring, stupid, not funny, basically INEXCUSABLE, all rolled into one horrible mummy movie... THOSE ARE TWO HOURS OF MY LIFE THAT I WILL NEVER GET BACK!!! And not even Jet Li can make up for those 2 hours, why on earth would they all agree to be in on this movie? Dear gosh.

Nothing saves this movie. Bad jokes, bad plot, bad action, bad bad bad. Disappointed in my asian stars. Honestly, I m speechless at how Michelle and Jet could have picked such a bad movie. Was it for the money? Did you both need it that badly?

I was disappointed than this movie. It wasn't the acting quality that threw me off but the script itself was weak and lame. I will be very honest here, I fell asleep numerous time during the show. There hasn't been a moment during the movie that gave me the satisfaction and feeling of wanting to see more. It was just pathetic. I would literally give it a Nill out of 10 if I could. Gals and Guys unless there is nothing else playing that captures your sincere interest or curiosity... DO NOT waste your time by going to see that movie. Go to the theatre instead or a comedy show. I'm serious!!!

If it wasn't a Mummy sequel and even tough I love Ben Fraiser he didn't do that much in this movie, he (or the studio) pushed more his "kid" for some reason, maybe they thought the "kid" could do the next movie by himself...

Horrible movie- UNLESS you just like super special effects. Jet Li needs to choose his movies carefully- this one pulls his acting reputation down... there was no good acting at all. Only character I like was the mature kung fu fighter lady from Crouching Tiger. Then a few things are in there that are just dumb- I won't give it away, but you're draw will drop at the stupidity of it when you see what I mean... I should've believed the review ratings here and gone home instead of taking a chance on seeing this movie after I missed getting a ticket for Imax Batman by 3 or 4 people! After movie I missed by bus to get home by 2 minutes and had to wait half an hour- Not a good night at all for me. Wait for the movie on cable or dvd rental.

Ridiculously stupid... don't watch it in big screen [...] The director should be ashamed for coaxing ppl to pay big bucks for this total crap. Acting looks SO FAKED. Actions and plot are incoherent. AVOID AT ALL COST.

It’s really a nice movie. Both I and my bf enjoyed it a lot. It's not a full historical movie, but it does tell us some truce background. Finally, it's a movie, so don't take that seriously. It won't be exactly the same as what you have been told by history books. Both of us were totally into the movie when we were watching it. The ending theme was cool too.

I missed Rachel Weiz in this movie alot! She gave something to the film that unfortunately Maria Bello couldn't pull off. The chemistry just wasn't there and it showed. Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh were well cast but the film seemed to try too hard to out shine the previous films and didn't live up to the hype.

I liked the movie. It had a plot and very fantasy like, showing a glimpse of the past and also brought the kid back in me. Not a bad movie at all. Would like to see it again. Waiting for a third installment! I love the fighting scenes! Go good guys!

This movie lived up to The Mummy's series, it had a few more silly parts, but thats what makes it a Brendan Frasier movie he was great, and Maria Bello was a good replacement, she looked, sounded like Rachel Wiez.

Not funny where it tries to be funny. Not suspenseful when it tries to be suspenseful. Not worth seeing in any way. I am a fan of Brendan Fraser but this movie is the worst he has ever done. Shame on anyone who had a hand in making this rubbish. And the Yeti's!!! COME ON!!!

Not the best of the Mummy trilogy - or "quadrilogy" with this movie - but very good action scenes, decent enough story and a great ending. Acting was pretty lame (expected from Brendon Fraser) yet Jet Li was simply great once again. Definite must see.

The Mummy's worthwhile to see. Having seen all the previous "Mummy" movies I enjoyed the scenery; like the story and the Yetis but found the husband/wife relationship wooden (were was the previous actress? ) Over all a good movie.
