User's review

There are a lot of movies this summer worth seeing that aren't perfect, Prince Caspian being among them. My expectations from the book were met somewhat, but not completely. I actually found that Prince Caspian lost a lot of the first one's childlike magic, and that Prince Caspian had less wonder and more war, which is fine, but not really what I was expecting. All the children brought understanding to their roles and each had a specific and suitable personality. Ben Barnes wasn't a smart casting choice as Caspian; he looked more like a Spaniard model that a Telmarine warrior. Peter Dinklage hilarious as the dwarf Trumpkin. Warwick Davis effectively menacing near the middle as another dwarf. All in all, Prince Caspian felt disjointed in some places, but the plot went along smoothly and the children are more than welcome back into their roles.
