User's review

Reviews inspired me to see the flick. I was thoroughly disapppointed. The production values and acting was decent but I found Crowe's character implausable and contradictory. The stark contrast between his perception and history as a cold, insensitive killer constantly conflicted with scene after scene that clearly portrayed him as insightful, complex and ultimately compassionate person. The dichotomy of sinner and saint was confusing, unsettling and unrealistic. The plot was simplistic except for the conclusion and that was just plain insulting. There must have been 2 versions of "310 to Yuma" because the movie I saw was clearly not the movie I read about.
