Here again, will Smith the hero of all heroes, a tall, built, athletic, and this time, also a scientist is living in new york alone, amongst the zombies in order to discover a cure to dezombified all the zombies. That's the core of the story. Where the movie is going? What's the moral? I dont know. Usually you dont go looking for a moral in a sc-fi/action movie, but they did try to add some depth by having will Smith feeling lonely and turning into an asocial prick. Then, you got some bla bla about religion, faith that is really annoying. *spoilers* I was also disappointed about the girl he saved then killed with a grenade. They didnt even try to make the character grow. But they did introduce new characters out of nowhere that plays a huge part in the ending.
