Reviews elsewhere and reviewers here are gushing that this is an "Intelligent" thriller, the "most action-packed movie in years." While it wasn't one of the many run-of-the-mill, dumb-as-dirt action movies; I'm not sure not being dumb quite qualifies as intelligent. What this movie IS, is an enjoyable sequence of hand-to-hand sparring and escape sequences. It is loosely held together by a plot striving to address political intrigues and the quest of one man against the system that created him. Rambo did that, too, and no one lauded that movie as intelligent. The Bourne franchise has the added element of his amnesia. Watch this movie for good fights, chases and escapes. Don't go expecting to see anything more.
