User's review

The original Die Hard is a masterpiece but since then it has been slipping in quality sequel by sequel and this version lives up to that standard. Willis is great, the action plentiful, his sidekick tolerable, and the plot semi-believable, only the heavy handed use of CGI special effects weight this film down into the realm of good to just okay, but not great. Better would have been believable stunts performed by real people not blue screened stretches of human improbability that make a person wonder if we are watching John McClane or his character David Dunn from Unbreakable.
