How can you be a"big fan of Christian Bale"if he lets you down everytime. If you think his best movies are Batman and The Prestige you know nothing about film. Harsh times was brilliant, and a movie where he was really able to display his talent. Why don't you just stick to your commercial Blockbuster movies and save your "warnings" for the kids.

I agree the writer says he's a big fan of Christian Bale but he always lets him down... Well cripes maybe you should or maybe you ain't really a fan he's made many good films.. maybe it's the film itself just my opinion not wanting to offend anyone and I am sure the writer will agree and will not lose sleep that I wrote this... my 2 cents.

Hey it was so good this movie it's not even on screen anymore. Can't believe I am replying to your [...] comment. I was simply stating my personal opinion and if you don't like them then don't read them. You seem to know so much about movies and acting why do you bother reading reviews if you have your own stubborn opinions to rely on. Look, I enjoy movies and I'm sure you do as well so keep going to the movies and enjoy them and try not to lose any sleep when people like myself take a few minutes to write what we honestly thought. I read all the comments on this movie before seeing it, and I must say that any attempt to compare the acting in this movie to a 'Batman' movie defies all logic... Be careful out there!
