A decent erie feel to it, The crows weren't played out all that well, and the farm hands place in the whole story was to obvious.

The movie delivers on jump scares, spine-chilling moments and heightened tension due to good editing, adept camera framings and effective sound effect. However, I find that the story is not tight enough. There isn't enough character development given on the boy, Bobby, and on the real estate guy - why is he even in the movie? The crows attacking reminded me of the movie "Birds" and the dead boy creeping of "Grudge".

It was disappointing. Another movie that you think is going to be frightening and have unexplainable ghosts or hauntings, but ends up having some logical explanation for the whole event.

Movie concept was good, scary enough. However; I think that the previews showed all of the most scary parts. Good ending. A jumpy type of film.

I thought it was pretty good, it reminded me of a better version of the amityville horror... the ending was a little cheesy, but what scary movie doesnt have somewhat of a cheesy ending? Worth yer time.

This movie was OK. I mean it seemed really short, and it reminded me of The AmityVille Horror. There are hardly any jumpy scenes or anything... if you liked The AmityVille Horror I guess you'll like this. Seems like they tried to mimmick it.

It was good overall, there were alot of jumpy parts and it scared me pretty bad however the movie was a bit cheesey and it wasnt what it seemed to be... a bit of loose strings.

I love scary movies and I love to be scared. My boyfriend took me to see it on my birthday. For me the scariest parts (almost) was the preview you see on t.v. I didn't get goosebumps nor was I creeped out by it...

It has a good setting for a scary movie, good for 'a date', and a cant miss for people who just like to get freaked out. All scary movies are better in the theatre cause of the sound:)

This was the worst horror movie, I don't advice anyone to see it, especially if you have seen Amityville horror, because its exactly a replicate of it. The only thing I liked about this movie was the little kid, too cute! As well as I would admit a few parts made me jump. But character were so stupid they looked like out of a kids goos bump books, their faces made me laugh, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I think hannibal rising would be a better idea!

There have been better movies then this come on, I didn't jump at all, the only thing good bout this movie, is to watch it with friends so u can make fun of the whole movie thats bout it, its just like every other movie, AND Y DIDN'T ANY ONE DIE!!!

I LOVED THIS MOVIE. I just went and seen it tonight, oh my god, I was scared to death, I jumped so many times I cant even count. I could not take my eyes off the screen, I would litterally see this movie every showing everyday until it leaves theatres, and then buy it when it comes out. Go see this now. Critics dont know anything. ** NOT A GOOD MOVIE FOR PEOPLE WITH HEART PROBLEMS.

This is like the best movie I've seen this year or maybe like one of my favourite horror films. Though not horrifically frightening, it had a great plot, and it all made sense. If you like one of those "haunted house, I-see-something-out-of-the corner-of-my-eye-hear strange voices and creepy scares sort of thing then go see it now... It's a great movie. It's basically about a family which moves in a haunted house on a deserted farm and the same thing is happening to them, as the family that used to live there many years ago. Pretty scary, and once again awesome FILM!!! =D go see it!

Real bad for a horror flick. Not bad if you like comedies! Seriously, really bad acting and dialogue, predictable ripoffs of other horror flicks, and the story was almost nonexistant. I have no idea why it is rated as high as it is.

Ok! I love movies where you get scared waiting for something to happen... but this movie left to be desired. I have learned to not expect too much from this category of cinema. The story is a little weak, the acting leaves to be desired, and the ending is predictable. Still I hid behind my scarf a couple of times!!!

Not a bad movie, but nothing you would want to recommend to anyone. These days when you could feed a destitute country for the price of making these things - you think they could do a little better - but I did jump a few times. Plus all the actors looked better then in real life, so I enjoyed that.

Like many people have commented, the first half of this movie had some nice 'creepy' moments, but the second half was so very cliche, and disappointing. What happened to the father was ridiculous, and it felt like the script writer ran out of ideas, and it looked like the producers ran out of money... what this movie ended up being, was a half-[...] effort at horror. If you get the movie channel, or a friend eventually rents this and it's free to you, then it's worth your attention, for about the first 35 min. Anyways, after that, turn off the tv and go knit a sweater, that would provide more entertainment for you...

Did you say horror? You mean comedy... Super predictable, right out of the rule book; some town in the middle of nowhere, a distraught family, a character nobody believes in blablabla... and yeah, I guess they kinda' remembered at the last moment they had to add some suspense at the end - very sad ending -- the worst... Save your time -- 7 letters: G-A-R-B-A-G-E.

AMAZING movie, The story line was amazing and it had the suspense to make it a good horror film. Loved it and would buy it on DVD without hesitation! If you want to see a good movie, with suspense this one is GREAT!
