Really enjoyable -- Clive Owen can barely hold a candle to the two kids he parents, they are the heart of this charming, poignant, authentic film. Australia is breathtakingly beautiful, but the OZ frontier spirit that prevades this film is the real star.

I enjoyed the film. Great to look at. Australia looks wonderful. Strong acting by the cast. A nice change for Clive Owen. He plays someone who is not a hero but ordinary mal-functioning Dad. The two boys were very good and their relationship in the film was touching. A film that makes you feel life is worth living.

Brilliant movie about the subtleties of life. Really don't get why this is labeled a "comedy". It is simply drama. A story about being a father. Great acting all around. Beautiful cinematography.
