That said, it is one of the most beautiful works of film I've ever seen. It's listed in historical film lists, but it really is just beautiful. If you are in the mood or the type of person who can "gaze at beauty" for a while, this will be unforgettable. The segment about the bell-builder especially is one of the best stories ever told in movies.
